Cory Monteith died last weekend of an overdose of heroin and alcohol, while in Vancouver visiting his parents. On the flight from LA to Canada, he recorded the message above for a young fan.

It would be the last video of the kind he’d ever record.

MiniGleeks posted the video online, saying it was shot on plane to Vancouver, after a flight attendant approached the actor asking him to send a few kind words to her boyfriend’s daughter, who was a big fan.

“Hi Malorie, I'm Cory – I'm Sheila's friend,” Monteith says in the vid.

“I just wanted to record this video for you guys to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school,” he says, frowning at the camera and then breaking out into a huge smile.

Cory was just 31 years old when he died and had achieved international fame on “Glee” on Fox.
