The Tokyo Game Show is once again a great source of good news, since a new expansion for Final Fantasy XI has just been announced. We'll see this expansion pack for Square-Enix's famous MMORPG shipped to all of the US retailers on November 20, 2007. Also, the service for Wings of Goddess will be available from November 22, 2007. This new pack will arrive on the Xbox 360, PS2 and PCs, so those bored FFXI fans, longing for new content, are in for a treat.

Wings of the Goddess features new jobs, characters and adventures, all taking place in the fascinating universe of Vana'diel. The Tokyo Game Show seemed the perfect occasion for Square-Enix to announce this expansion, by revealing a neat new trailer that shows a couple of new areas to explore and new creatures to battle. In case you're a FF XI addict, you might be glad to find out that there's a new job system included, allowing you to develop and live a more adventurous virtual life.

You can either buy the standalone expansion pack in its PS2, Xbox 360 and PC version for $29.99, or a special Final Fantasy XI Vana'diel Collection 2008, which includes all expansions. This collection will only be available on the PS2 ($39.99) and the Xbox 360 ($49.99), so if you've never visited Vana'diel before, now it's the perfect time to do it. Square-Enix are not the ones to sit back and enjoy the victory, since Crisis Core is a major hit and a best-seller, so they keep announcing new titles surprising us all.

A new PSP Kingdom Hearts, FF XIII and FF XIII Versus screenshots, an Xbox 360 RPG plus a couple of other genre-related goodies...this is what Square-Enix has been up to so far during the Tokyo Game Show. They've got the golden touch all right, releasing hit after hit and they won't stop too soon.
