Move over “Hunger Games!” There is a new dystopian future action series that's about to take center stage and it's called “Divergent.” The movie tells the story of a future society which is divided into five factions.

The movie's heroine, Tris, does not belong to either of them, being labeled a “Divergent” and subsequently outcast until she joins the rebel faction called Dauntless. The gripping action thriller stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James.

Tris is told that she must keep her identity a secret or risk losing her life. After discovering a looming war between the factions and the rebels,, she has to make the difficult decision of whether she should reveal her Divergent traits or keep them secret in order to save her world.

“Divergent” is based on the novel by Veronica Roth which was named New York times best seller, as it follows yet another look as a segregated population in the future, where people who don't fit a certain profile are outcast and banished.

The film is directed by Neil Burger and it will be opening in theaters all over the United States starting with March 21.
