Many developers avoid bringing their apps and games on Windows Phone platform because of its low market share.

According to the latest statistics, Microsoft's mobile platform market share is below 4% worldwide, which is one of the main reasons developers don't want to invest resources in porting their apps to Windows Phone.

The same goes for technologies that are already available for Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, SteamOS and other platforms, mobile or not.

The Virtual Reality headsets that have been announced in the last months by Samsung, HTC, Sony and other smaller companies, support many of the platforms we mentioned earlier.

As WMPU points out, a new VR headset has been spotted in Russia. The so-called Fibrum Pro is aimed at Windows Phone fans, which means users will be able to attach their Windows Phone-powered smartphones to the new Fibrum Pro and enjoy playing in a virtual 3D environment.

The headset will be available from June 1

According to the official specifications, Fibrum Pro is compatible with smartphones that feature displays between 4 and 6 inches, so users can adjust it according to their devices.

It's also worth mentioning that developers claim the headset needs Bluetooth HID connection, which means it will work better with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 or Windows 10 for Phones.

The Fibrum Pro VR headset is not yet available for purchase, but it's already listed on Microsoft Store so customers can now register their interest and they will be notified when it goes on sale.

Although there's no mention of price tag on the official page, Fibrum Pro VR headset is said to hit shelves on June 1 and will be available for prices ranging between 6,500 - 7,000 rubles ($127 - $137).

Keep in mind that Fibrum Pro VR headset is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones as well, not just Windows Phones.
