A massive explosion at a fertilizer plant in Waco, Texas has left possibly dozens dead, several injured and wiped off several homes.

According to ABC News, the injury count in Waco has reached 179 as authorities tend to victims and scour the wrecks.

Swanton and West Mayor Tommy Muska confirms that a fire was registered at the plant before tanks filled with hazardous, flammable substances exploded. The moment of the blast has been caught on video.

As I mentioned before, the police have not yet released the number of fatalities in the “fire and chemical explosion,” while confirming that several people have lost their lives. Sources estimate that the death toll could reach 70.

First reports show that at least nine first responders have perished in the blast, of whom one cop, two paramedics, and six members of the firefighting crew.
