14 DAY TRIAL // They were plagued by pregnancy rumors within weeks of tying the knot 4 years ago but it’s just now that singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel get to confirm them. They are expecting their first child together.
Both stars opted to put an end to speculation with a brief and very sweet announcement on their respective Twitter feeds.
They uploaded a composite pic of the two of them when they were kids, with the message, “Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump.”
As we also noted earlier this month, word that Fergie was with child had already been making the rounds (again) for several days.
Her red carpet appearance at the premiere of Josh’s latest film, the romantic flick “Safe Haven,” only helped pour more fuel to the fire: not only did she appear curvier than usual, but she was also wearing a dress that could have easily masked a baby bump, if one was there to require masking.
Reporters asked Josh directly whether he and Fergie had some amazing news to share with fans, but he responded with a flat “No.”
In the past, as we also noted on the occasion, whenever rumors of pregnancy would pick up, Fergie herself would deny them by saying they came with the territory when you’re a woman in showbiz.
Though she’s usually very fit, Fergie is no stranger to fluctuating weight, so, whenever she packed a few more pounds, there would be speculation that she was with child.
As it turns out, this time, she really is pregnant.
Neither Fergie nor Josh has said anything more about their new (imminent) bundle of joy, yet. However, keep an eye on this space for updates.
If they choose to go down the same path other celebrities went down, they will probably do a TV interview soon and offer more details.
