At the same time, Microsoft has taken the time to single out various features and accessories designed to set the new digital media devices apart from rival products from Apple. The presentations focus on the AV Dock, the Premium Car Pack, HD Radio technology, HD Video, Zune HD and Xbox integration and Zune Pass.

Zune HD features a 16:9 OLED screen touch screen tailored to the natural user interface (NUI), but also built-in HD Radio receiver, HD video output, Wi-Fi capabilities. Because it is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra ultralow-power HD processor, speculation indicated that the device is also aimed at gamers. One of the videos also features a demonstration of gaming content running on the Zune HD. Microsoft revealed that the estimated retail price for Zune HD 16GB would be $219.99, while the Zune HD 32GB would cost $289.99.
