Farrah Abraham may be only 23 but she has more plastic in her than “real” celebrities, i.e. people who didn’t get their start in the industry as reality stars and followed that up with a career in adult entertainment. Earlier this month, Farrah made headlines around the world with hospital photos of her badly swollen lips.

Apparently, sick of having to get fillers regularly, Farrah opted for a lip implant, but something went very wrong: she must have had an allergic reaction to whatever product was used before the actual procedure, and it made her lip swell up to several times its size.

Her lip is down to normal now, but she’s not yet done with plastic surgery.

A “wake up call,” she’s so happy she’s alive

Abraham was on The Doctors the other day to talk about her “ordeal” and how it was a “wake up call” because it made her understand just how much she was risking whenever she went under the knife.

She’s very honest about the procedures she’s had so far, including breast augmentation, chin implant, liposuction, nose job and fillers, but she says this most recent experience is the one that could possibly make her put off all surgery plans, at least for a while.

“I'm just super happy that I'm alive. I do need to do more research. Maybe I'm never going to be doing that ever again,” she says.

In almost the next breath, she asks Dr. Drew Ordon if she should get the implant after all or continue with the fillers, and she seems genuinely upset to hear his advice that she should not be doing anything to her lips for a very long time from now.

A “wake up call,” but not really

And it’s not just the lips that she’s thinking of getting done: Farrah admits that she’s doing research for butt implants, and remains unmoved when the same Dr. Ordon suggests she could get the same results as with implants by just doing exercises that would make her booty rounder and perkier.

The expression on Abraham’s face when she hears from the female co-host that if she “just stopped right now” she would be perfect and beautiful, is priceless – the very translation in real life of the phrase “if looks could kill.”

Abraham may call her recent health scare a “wake up call” but she obviously has no intention of stopping with the plastic surgery. Considering she gets to cash in these changes in her appearances, can we really blame her?
