Ubisoft has just announced that a new update for Far Cry 4 is now available for download on some platforms. Title Update 5 has been confirmed to bring some multiplayer-related improvements, as well as some bug fixes to matchmaking and load and save files.

For the time being, Title Update 5 has only been released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game will be getting the update later today as well.

The changes included in the update are similar on all platforms, players on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One will benefit from the same improvements and bug fixes.

First and foremost Title Update 5 brings co-op on custom maps for Far Cry 4. Integrated Outpost Masker in Co-Op, as well as fixes to various client connectivity issues and Host / Client replication issues have been implemented as well.

Along with the addition of co-op on custom maps, developers also introduced an In-Game Editor Co-Op. The patch should also fix various Gameplay functionality issues with asset placements and the Map Browser.

Those who mostly prefer the multiplayer aspect of Far Cry 4 will be pleased to know that Ubisoft confirmed Title Update 5 should fix matchmaking stability and general issues with PvP, as well as inconsistencies with XP in the load-out menu.
