The painful memory of the previous “Fantastic Four” movies is still pretty hard to shake so the reboot has a lot of pressure put on its shoulders to redeem the franchise, especially since the other Marvel projects have fared so well at the box office.

The Verge is reporting that it has the final choices in terms of casting and there are some surprises there to say the least. First off, the role of Ben Grimm – aka The Thing, aka The Big Orange Guy – will be going out to 27-year-old Jamie Bell, which has previously starred in “The Adventures of Tin Tin” and so is familiar with motion-capture filming.

The next big surprise is the role of Johnny Storm – aka the Human Torch – which, by all accounts, it set to go to African-American actor Michael B. Jorden. The role of his sister, Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, is billed to be played by Kate Mara.

Their exact nature of their relation hasn't been revealed, but it's possible that one of them will be adopted in this reboot.

Finally, the coveted role of Ree Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, is going to be played by Miles Teller. From the looks of things, the studio is banking on a young cast to bring back the shine to the franchise. The film is going to be directed by Josh Trank and is due out in theaters on June 19, 2015.
