Another comic book based video game

Yesterday, we reported that a new Fantastic 4 game will be developed, and that nobody knew for sure who exactly will publish it. Some inclined towards SEGA and some thought Take-Two would take the prize.

The ones who bet on SEGA were in line for a surprise, as today an official announcement came, and squashed any speculations floating in the air, confirming that Take-Two now holds publishing rights for the next Fantastic 4 game.

The comic book based game will be called Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer and will come out at the same time as the next Fantastic 4 movie. I have a dilemma though, I'm wondering whether or not Jessica Alba will still feature in the next movie. I hope so, because blue spandex looked soooo good on her.

Anyway, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer will be developed by Visual Concepts Studio and Seven studio for next-gen consoles, current generation consoles and handheld system. That's a fancy way of saying that it will be developed for all available consoles. No PC though!

The Silver Surfer will rise in June 2007, simultaneously with the release of the Fantastic 4 movie sequel, a film that does not have an official name yet.
