14 DAY TRIAL // With fame comes invasion of privacy, countless celebrities say, with the paparazzi always around, snapping away undisturbed, and the tabloids speculating on even the most insignificant aspects of their personal life. One star that will never complain about the massive media coverage he’s enjoying, though, is “High School Musical” teen idol Zac Efron.
According to ShowbizSpy, the actor is not only happy about the kind of attention he’s constantly getting, but also cannot help from feeling blessed that fans are always assaulting him with autograph and photo requests. Given his young age and the fact that there are so many actors who are struggling for recognition, Zac says, he feels his celebrity status is a true blessing, therefore he has no reason to complain.
“No, it’s great, I’ve been blessed. I think I have a very cool fan base at this point. Not everyone can say that at their premier in London all these people show up and show their support – I don’t know how I got so lucky.” the actor said while in London for the premiere of his latest film, “17 Again.” In all fairness, his case is unique in that not all 21-year-old male stars get the kind of reception from fans and critics whenever they make an appearance, it has been noted.
The secret, Zac says, is to simply take everything one step at a time, and never forget to be thankful for every little thing that life throws at you. Regrets have no place in Zac’s heart, it seems. “I think things are pretty good for me right now, I don’t know if I’d go back. You know, that’s probably one of the bigger messages of the story – is don’t live in regret at the past, enjoy the present, live your life to the fullest, and I think I’m doing that.” the star further adds.
However, while feeling blessed with the media attention, one can’t but note that there are some downsides to it. One of them, for instance, would be the fact that his personal life will always be subject to speculation, as was the case already countless times with his relationship with co-star Vanessa Hudgens.
“First Zac flirts with Megan Fox on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. Okay, we’ll give him that one. It’s Megan Fox. But then he went to Australia without Vanessa, instead doting on Taylor Swift at a celebrity event. Zac and Taylor could be a couple soon.” the DailyFill wrote a short while back about the possibility that Zac might have broken up with Vanessa, and was looking to “hook up” with another woman.
