After much speculation, leaks from patent filings, and intense rumors, Bethesda has officially confirmed the next three downloadable content packs for Fallout: New Vegas.

Bethesda revealed a few months ago, after the release of the first DLC for the game, Dead Money, that three more add-ons are going to be launched for the post apocalyptic role-playing game developed by Obsidian.

Now, after many rumors, the company has officially revealed three new content packs that will be released in the next few months: Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road.

The first one, Honest Hearts, will appear on May 17, and will see New Vegas' Courier go on an expedition into the wilderness that is the Utah Zion National Park. You are quickly attacked by a tribal raiding band, and, as you make your way back home to the Mojave Wasteland, enter a war between tribes as well as a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man.

Check out the details of the two other add-ons below, straight from Bethesda.

"In Old World Blues, releasing in June, you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You’ll need to scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat."

"Lonesome Road, available in July, brings the courier’s story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job –a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned."

Both The Burned Man and Ulysses were set to play major roles in the regular campaign of Fallout: New Vegas, with many characters hinting to their presence or influence. Now, it seems that Obsidian has finally decided to add them to the story of the game.

All DLC packs will be released simultaneously for the PC, through the Steam and Direct2Drive digital distribution services, on the PlayStation 3, through the PSN, and on the Xbox 360 through the Xbox Live service, costing $9.99 (800 MS Points) each.
