The extended demo for Fallout 4 was the high-point of the entire Bethesda E3 2015 press conference and the director of the project says that some gamers might be disappointed about the quality of the graphics, but they should be ready to see how they will increase overall immersion.

During a GameSpot-hosted panel about the coming post-apocalyptic open world experience, Too Howard says that a clear upgrade over the previous title in the series is being introduced, designed to use the extra power offered by the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, and better PC hardware.

He states, "I think with each of our games, the graphics always going to move along. Not just the graphics, but memory is important to us. How much memory it has. If we make the world that has, not just more details, but more dynamic details that we can keep track of and stream in and load quicker, all of that suspends your disbelief that this is a real world."

Immersion and suspension of disbelief are important to Bethesda, but the company is more interested in making sure that the gameplay of the coming game satisfies fans.

The sameness of the Fallout 3 environment is gone, and the developers are eager to show more colorful elements, especially when the player visits actual Boston and sees how it is being rebuilt.

Fallout 4 introduces settlement creation and crafting

Bethesda says that gamers who simply want to play the new title as a classic experience in the series can do so, but it is also adding features that fundamentally change the experience.

Using resources salvaged from the more colorful environment, fans can choose to develop their own houses and communities, which will have to withstand assaults from raiders, and they can also trade with one another.

Fallout 4 also has an extensive crafting system, which means there are more than 700 unique variations for the over 50 weapons included in the title.

Todd Howard has also confirmed that he will not allow the world of the game to harm the new dog companion in any way.

Fallout 4 will be released on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on November 10 and a special Pip-Boy edition for the title is now offered, with a real world replica of the best-known gadget from the series.
