Apparently, Bethesda has hired Guillermo del Toro's production company in order to create the cinematic trailer for Fallout 4, meant to be unveiled at this year's edition of the E3 convention.

Everybody knows that having a great CG trailer when first announcing a video game can go a long way as far as hype-building goes, and Bethesda seems poised to knock it out of the park.

The information comes from the Linkedin profile of a 3D artist claiming to have been contracted to work on it, as Videogamer reports. The artist lists doing work on a "Fallout 4 cinematic trailer" for Mirada Studios, a California-based outfit co-founded by notable film director Guillermo del Toro.

The artist's previous work experience includes several trailers for last year's high-profile releases, namely Far Cry 4, The Elder Scrolls, and Forza Motorsport.

This seems to be even more evidence supporting the rumor that Bethesda will deliver the long-awaited announcement for Fallout 4 next month. Although no official word has been published yet, there are a lot of rumors surrounding the upcoming reveal.

The odds of Fallout 4 being present at E3 are pretty good

The publisher is hosting its first-ever press conference event on Sunday, June 14, and it seems likely that announcing Fallout 4 would be just the thing to secure a resounding debut. It's also the kind of thing that you only do when you have plenty to show and are confident that you can wow the crowds, which further increases the likelihood of a Fallout 4-related announcement.

Furthermore, Videogamer reports that a 20- to 30-minute gameplay demonstration is also being prepared for a behind-closed-doors presentation at the upcoming show. Bethesda's history at the show is also consistent with this, as the company revealed the first gameplay demo for Fallout 3 at E3 2008, followed by Fallout: New Vegas at E3 2010.

The Fallout series is one of the most beloved in video games history. It presents the plight of mankind after a nuclear apocalypse, exploring the harsh life that the survivors are leading in an almost barren wasteland, while also showing that life goes on, one way or another, no matter what.
