He's gotten through two tough events in just one week

It's been quite a week for Facebook CEO and visionary Mark Zuckerberg as he's seen two long-term investments pay off. For one, Facebook, the company he founded eight years ago in his Harvard dorm room, has gone public in one of the biggest deals of its kind in history.

Eager to wrap things up with the other half of his life, Zuckerberg also saw his nine-year relationship with Priscilla Chan come to a (happy) end as the two got married the day after the IPO.

We can't be sure about marriage, but we know that Zuckerberg wasn't at all eager to take Facebook public and held out as long as he could.

It may seem that he was trying to get it all over within two days, but the dates were actually a coincidence.

The happy couple have been planning the marriage for a few months now, though it was a surprise to the 100 or so guests that showed up expecting a party to celebrate Priscilla's graduation from med school.

As family members and friends arrived, it was revealed that this was no ordinary party. For a man so eager to push people to share more, it seems he valued his privacy for this event.

The IPO's date was always changing and it was coincidence that pushed it to just one day before the wedding. In another coincidence, Zuckerberg turned 28 on Monday last week.

Zuckerberg wore a hoodie for the IPO, but he donned a suit and tie for the marriage ceremony. He also wore a suit for Obama, but that's probably one of the few occasions you'll see him wearing one. That's not to say Zuckerberg is not married to his job too, don't expect him to slow down anytime soon.
