Facebook has just announced its Android-only application Hello has just received a major update that brings some new features and improvements.

Although the application is not available in all countries and all Android smartphones, it still exceeded the 100k download mark a while ago.

The more reason for Facebook to try and improve Hello for Android with new features and enhancements that should improve user experience.

With the latest update, Facebook makes it easier for users to answer calls thanks to a new gesture implemented.

Basically, with the newest version of Hello you will be able to answer calls with one swipe thanks to the new call card layout. Also, the update brings a new option that allows users to filter contact to show only people with phone numbers.

Another new feature introduced is the option to access Hello contacts in all your other apps, which comes in handy when you don't want to exit a certain app.

Also, you can now change your contacts' photos or sync them with Facebook, as well as use Hello with two SIM cards and choose which one to use to call.

On Hello 2.0, users can get notifications for missed and blocked calls, as well as easily create shortcuts on their home screen for their top contacts.

Last but not least, developers confirmed that we could now use Hello with right-to-left languages, which expands the app's usability to more users.

These are all the new features and improvements included in the update, but expect some under-the-hood changes to have been made as well.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Hello for Android 2.0 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
