According to Molyneux, both

Fable III is under development so it's only obvious that rumors have already started to spread. The latest one has as protagonist the game designer involved in the other Fable projects, Peter Molyneux, and it regards the involvement of Project Natal in the game, as part of a supported controller. Molyneux is true to his legacy and provided nothing but the very best in accurate statements. "I am going to say it's going to use a controller, but I've never said it's not going to use Natal," he told Game Kings.

"Obviously, what would probably happen if I started talking about this is you would see a little red dot appear moving on my forehead. And then as I would start to speak the words then there would be a shot, gunfire, and I would be assassinated. Quite clearly it is that sensitive." But apparently persistence is also a virtue, so he didn't really stop here. "Let me give this to you absolutely straight. I have not said that we're not going to have Natal in Fable III. All I have really said is it is a controller experience. That doesn't mean there isn't going to be Natal." That's about as crystal clear as it could be. Military precision, one might even say.

So, the rumor has been given roots and the world is ready to speculate. There would be some sense in implementing Project Natal in Fable III. Lionhead, the game's developer, already works on a Natal project, and not just a support, but a standalone one for the controller. Aside from the upcoming Milo and Kate game dedicated to the motion-sensing controller of Microsoft, there's another little bit of intel that would suggest Natal and Fable III will be holding hands.

Molyneux has a bit of a “mad scientist” reputation, so any crazy idea would be just up his ally. In his own words "Do you really think, knowing me, I wouldn't want to use something like Natal? I mean that's just mad, man;” and yes, he is, but he's more than able to do it, so that's a bit of a contradiction right there.
