Fable II is a very well polished game with features that haven't yet been explored in the gaming industry. The wide variety of choices and how each and every one of them affects the characters is mind-boggling. The story is very intriguing and, coupled with an excellent battle system, it has impressed a lot of people. Peter Molyneux, the lead designer of the title, has stressed the fact that Fable II will have a great impact on every kind of player out there.

With the game already launched in the United States a couple of days ago, the reviews from specialty sites have begun to appear on the Internet. These extensive and mostly positive evaluations have gotten Molyneux very "emotional and excited" when he read them. The innovative game designer has recently spoken about his excitement with ComputerAndVideoGames and has issued a "thank you" to all of the reviewers who managed to condense the rich experience of his game into just a few pages.

"Fable II must have been one of the hardest games to review. The world is so big and the story and gameplay are enormous. How reviewers manage to distil such an experience into a few pages is incredible. I found myself becoming incredibly emotional as I read peoples reviews and saw how differently the reviewers were reacting to Fable 2. Some reviewers played good, others evil some enjoyed the combat more than the story. Some ended up rich and others poor and it's the sheer variety in how reviewers have played the game which has struck us most. I'd like to say a personal thank you to every reviewer out there for their patience and belief."

This statement comes after the designer sent out, together with each review copy, a personal note in which he asked the reviewers to take into consideration the impact of the game on a casual player. He has already stressed the fact that this title will surely change the way players look at games, especially the casual gamers, who aren't very accustomed to the mechanics of regular videogames.
