14 DAY TRIAL // According to Zen Studios' recent announcement, the digital publisher of arcade, strategy and action games, has rolled out 'Buccaneer', a downloadable expansion table for Pinball FX, available for free up on Xbox Live Arcade. Complete with pirate motifs and swashbuckling sounds and effects, The Buccaneer expansion table features different game modes and achievements as well.
Pinball FX was released on Xbox Live Arcade earlier this year and combines the arcade thrills of traditional pinball with enhanced game play, unparalleled graphical detail and exciting, innovative features not found in any other pinball game. The Buccaneer expansion table will be "free booty" for owners of the full version of Pinball FX (available for 800 Microsoft Points, or $10 USD). Buccaneer will feature several different modes of play and includes an additional dedicated achievement for gamers looking to boost their Xbox Live Gamerscore.
As for Buccaneer, Zen Studios has confirmed that it is only one of many upcoming Pinball FX expansion tables set to be released within the coming weeks and join the existing Speed Machine, Extreme and Agents tables.
"Free downloadable content is the best treat for gamers on Halloween," said Zsolt Kigyossy, Managing Director for Zen Studios. "The fact that Buccaneer adds to one of the best games on Xbox Live Arcade makes it even sweeter."
