14 DAY TRIAL // You know it’s true love when two people start wearing matching clothes, suddenly finish each other sentences, or get a haircut they wouldn’t have even considered before. So it must be true love for British heartthrob Robert Pattinson and his recent girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs.
The other night, Pattinson stepped out on the red carpet at Go Campaign’s 7th Annual Go Go Gala in Beverly Hills, rocking a hairstyle that few would have imagined him ever getting.
The Internet is still in shock as we speak – so you can imagine how the Twihards must be feeling right now.
The undercut with a small back strip that got everybody talking
Pattinson and Twigs have been dating since late August, going public in September. However, it’s just recently that they’ve stopped hiding from the paparazzi, holding hands and even kissing in public.
This can mean one of two things: they are positive that their relationship will last because they’re in love and they want the world to know it; or they no longer care what the media has to say.
So, a couple of days ago, when they were photographed together at the airport, it became obvious that Pattinson had done something to his hair, because underneath a baseball cap, paparazzi spotted the strip you can admire in all its glory in the first photo in the gallery below.
Working under the assumption that he must have shaved his head and gotten a Mohawk, bloggers didn’t make too much fuss about it. Of course, there’s a chance that they were also waiting to see the new ‘do without the cap – their wish was granted last night.
Apparently, Pattinson’s new haircut is even weirder than suspected, because he got an undercut and left just a patch / strip of hair on the back of his head. From the front, it looks business as usual, but from the back, it’s an entirely different view.
Pattinson showcased it at the gala, happily posing for photographers from all sides. The contrast between how handsome and stylish he looks from the front and the back makes the haircut look even sillier.

This is something we’ve never seen on a celebrity, not even in character for “The Hunger Games,” playing a resident of Capitol. The novelty of the haircut has made Pattinson the butt of all jokes online, with commenters and bloggers saying that the new ‘do has FKA Twigs written all over it.
Even if she didn’t get him to get it, it’s still a silly ‘do, voices online are saying. The only way in which this would be acceptable (as in, less silly) is if he got it for a new role or some secret project he’s working on. But that’s probably not the case.
