The development team at EA Sports is starting to reveal the ratings for players in the upcoming FIFA 15 video game and is offering gamers a chance to take a look at the players who are occupying places 50 to 41, with Juan Mata the best placed so far.

The full run-down from the announcement post includes: the aforementioned Mata, Jerome Boateng, Busquets, Martinez, Lloris, Fabregas, Cassilas, Alonso, Pirlo and Chiellini.

The rest of the top 50 will be shown before the end of the week, allowing gamers to get a clear idea of the best players that will be included in FIFA 15 and about which team they will want to manage when the football simulation is finally launched.

The company states, “There will be surprises, omissions and discussion as to the placement of players on these lists. Feel free to join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook to voice your own opinions with the hashtag #FIFA15Ratings.”

EA Sports says that the ratings are based on the performance of all players over the past 365 calendar days both in the championships they are part of and the cups their teams have progressed through, and they apply both to the core game and to the Ultimate Team mode.

The development team is also delivering a video associated with the ratings creation process, which shows how some of the included players have reacted to the reveal of their own in-game versions, which is a big tongue-in-cheek.

FIFA 15 will be launched on September 23 in the United States and on September 25 in Europe on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and last-gen consoles.

The new version of the title will use a new engine that will deliver more realism for matches, using smarter teammates and better physics for the ball.

EA Sports says that all the main game modes have been improved with new features that make it easier for players to enjoy the action.

In Ultimate Team, gamers can use Concept Squads in order to develop their team in the long term and there are options to also lead some players to deliver an instant boost.

EA Sports also says that for FIFA 15 it will implement a number of new anti-cheating measures in order to make sure that the playing field is even for all those involved in competitive modes, with quick bans prepared for those who plan to play outside the rules.
