FIFA 15 is entering the twilight of its long life

The Ultimate Team mode has become so popular in the past few years that it has managed to almost singlehandedly keep the current installment of the football sim alive in 2015, with the team at EA Sports constantly delivering more player versions and interesting tweaks for the mechanics.

At the moment, the focus is on the Team of the Season packages and on the addition of the purple Hero players, who have managed to perform in impressive ways during the entire season.

EA Sports is also saying that it wants to keep the price of superstars low, so that more players can get them and use them in their teams, and that it will try and make sure that there are more possibilities to get coins for Ultimate Team.

FIFA 16 has been officially announced as coming on September 24 on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC, with legacy versions linked to older consoles.

The first big reveal about the title is that, for the first time, 12 national women's teams will be included, with a new set of animations and improvements linked to motion capture.
