FIFA 13 needs to bring a lot of innovation in order to persuade gamers to part with the previous title in the series, which is widely seen as the best football simulation of the last decade, and the development team at EA Sports has offered extensive information on the new features that gamers can look forward to.

International opportunities will be offered to the player after his reputation grows in Career Mode and teams can be managed in parallel, with the nationality the player chooses and his current team taken into account when offers are made.

The game hubs for club and international teams are separate and jobs can be obtained and lost in the middle of campaigns.

The Career Mode now includes audio updates about the other matches in the league and players on the manager’s team will have bigger reactions to the player decisions and the match results.

The Be a Player mode now includes Season and match objectives, and after a player completes his career, he will have the option to move into management.

FIFA 13 is slated for launch on September 25 in North America and September 28 in Europe on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PC.

The transfer system for the Career Mode has also been completely rewritten for FIFA 13, with included advice from the leaders of the club and more options when it comes to both loan and transfers, with a clear cap for some clubs and ratings for the transfer targets for smaller teams.

FIFA 13 will also include a number of changes to the core game mechanics, all of them designed to make matches more unpredictable.

The game also has versions for the Nintendo Wii U, when it is released, the normal Wii, the PlayStation 2, Xperia Play, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Portable.
