FIFA 11, the football simulation title from EA Sports, has managed to stay at the top of the United Kingdom video game chart for another week, despite a determined challenge coming from its main rival, the Konami made Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

FIFA 11's main selling point is the new Personality+ system, which boasts that virtual players on the pitch will behave as their real life counterparts would do in the same situation.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 managed to take second spot in the chart, with the PlayStation 3 version of the game selling better than the Xbox 360 one.

FIFA 11 promises players free DLC in November while PES 2011 recently received a free update which introduces new kits and updates rosters for teams, in an effort to keep gamers interested.

Third spot when to Dead Rising 2 from Capcom, the game which allows the player to embrace ridiculous outfits and create outlandish weapons as he tries to battle a zombie invasion in a mall and save the life of his daughter.

F1 2010, the Formula 1 simulation game from Codemasters, is at number four in the chart, despite the fact that the developers admitted that the game had issues with the Artificial Intelligence element.

Halo: Reach, the first person shooter from Bungie and Microsoft, sits in fifth spot, the first game in the chart that is exclusive to one platform, the Xbox 360.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, from Konami, debuted at number six in the software chart, followed by Enslaved: Odyssey to the West coming from the same publisher.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 from Electronic Arts continues its comeback tour at number eight in the chart, followed by two video games aimed squarely at the casual market, Just Dance from Ubisoft and Wii Party from Nintendo.

Titles like Toy Story 2 from Disney, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock from Activision, Sports Champions from Sony and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands from Ubisoft are now out of the top ten.
