He may have been tied to Chechen terrorist organizations

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the suspect in the Boston bombings who has been fatally shot before he could be interrogated, is no stranger to the FBI.

Daily Mail reported that Tsarnaev was questioned by the Bureau two years ago. He was allegedly linked to unnamed extremist groups, but was released when law enforcement officials couldn't find anything on him.

As of yet, we know that he was born in Chechnya, lived in Russia and possibly moved to the United States 10 years ago, being legally allowed residence in 2007.

Experts speculate that the Russian government could have requested an interrogation, fearing his ties to Chechen terrorist groups, but the account has not been confirmed.

As I mentioned, Tsarnaev was a devout Muslim who studied at a community college in Boston, boxed regularly and hoped to make it to the Olympics.
