Formula 1 racing fans beware of the latest email scam that promises a fabulous deal on thickets, champagne, open bar, a private table and many more luxuries that normally can't be afforded by an average Joe.

Symantec reports that the fast approaching event from Abu Dhabi that will take place on November 13 is a great opportunity for shady merchants to sell their products.

In this case they offer tickets at a fabulous price, but to make the scheme even more appealing, they throw in a lot of extras.

"Take your position on the starting grid. It's the race for a place at Abu Dhabi. Be there as the F1 season nears its climax with this penultimate clash amid all the glitz and glamour. Vettel, Button and Webber will be going all out to score those vital points," reads the advertisement.

"So soak up the sun, sit back and let us spoil you. All you have to do is savour the high-speed thrills of like in the fast lane combined with our luxury hospitality package. Do not miss the chance to experience F1 racing first hand and impress your most prestigious clients!"

From this message we can conclude that the hoax targets not only individuals, but also companies who might go for the opportunity to impress some of their high-roller customers.

Racing enthusiasts are advised to purchase tickets and other products only from trusted locations since many crooks will try to profit from their naivety. Also, access popular shops by writing the site's address yourself, instead of clicking on a link received by email.

Some cleverly designed rogue stores might even be validated by a legitimate digital certificate but unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily mean they're the real deal. Recently, crooks managed to get a hold of such certificates and use them on their shady sites to attract as many customers (victims) as they can.
