Kyle, a 31-year-old baby-faced man from Augusta, Georgia, is the living example of that, after discovering at a relatively young age that he was into mature women. Today, he makes headlines for introducing his 91-year-old girlfriend to his 51-year-old mother.
Kyle is branded by the Daily Mail as an “extreme toyboy,” while Marjorie McCool, aka Marge, the girlfriend, is an “extreme cougar.” They both refuse these labels, saying that, as long as they don’t hurt anyone with what they’re doing, they should not be judged based on what society deems “right” in terms of dating.
Both spoke to the media about their unusual relationship and, as you can see in the video embedded below, they claim to have found their perfect match. However, Kyle is not monogamous: he admits that his love for older women is such that he’s seeing another 2, though Marge remains his favorite – and his oldest too.
In fact, he likes her so much that he even took her to meet his mother, who is actually so much younger that she could be her daughter.
“Everyone's brain is wired differently, some guys prefer blondes, some brunettes, some like other guys – I like old ladies. Often, the things women are so self-conscious about is what I'm into. I like the neck lines and wrinkles. Women worry about their [breasts] sagging but I think the natural hang looks great. I'm really not a fan of plastic surgery,” Kyle explains.
His friends don’t understand his attraction to older women, and they admit that they relate to those people in the streets who stare whenever they see Kyle and Marge walking down hand in hand or engaging in public displays of affection.
Speaking of which, Marge swears that the PDAs are nothing compared to the sparks they set off in the bedroom. “The physical side of our relationship is wonderful. I amaze myself, he amazes me. There's nothing better,” she says in the same interview.
When she met Kyle and he kept pressing her to go out on a date with him, she was very skeptical about his motives and even assumed he was mocking her. The relationship with him has turned out to be the biggest surprise of her life, she says with a smile.
Not everyone is just as easily convinced that embarking on this type of May-December romance is wise, though.
Kyle’s biggest gripe right now is this: he hates it that people assume he’s only dating mature women because he’s interested in their money, perhaps even hoping in secret he might be included in their will. Whatever happened to people’s freedom to date anyone without being questioned about motives, he seems to be saying.
