The development team at Eidos Montreal and the publisher Square Enix have announced that fans of the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be able to get access to new content related to the video game as the ”Like” count for the page increases.

The team is promising more than 90 exclusive updates for faithful fans, including new videos taken from the game, artwork and behind the scenes features.

There are also wallpapers that can be downloaded and a number of vignettes that detail Augmentations and story elements.

Kyle Stallock, who is the community manager at the Eidos studio based in Montreal, where Deus Ex is being developed, has stated, “Deus Ex has one of the most passionate, vocal and dedicated communities in all of video games, so offering a program that rewards that loyalty - even before the game is released - is a great way for us to give something back.”

The developer added, “The Facebook community now has significant control over the release schedule for some of our favorite assets. We have a ton of surprises and unlockables planned, so fans should invite their friends to ‘Like’ the page and start collecting these rewards.”

At the moment fans can also pre-order Deus Ex: Human Revolution so as to get an expanded in game experience, including a bonus mission that promises an encounter with a well-known character from the first game, and real world goodies.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is shaping up to be one of the most interesting gaming experiences of this year, with recent information coming from the developers at Eidos Montreal detailing a game that allows the player a lot of freedom on how he approaches each situation.

The game was initially set to be launched during May but publisher Square Enix has pushed it back to August.
