The latest release from Playrix Entertainment seems to be yet another hidden object game that continues the tradition of its first Fishdom success. With the fresh Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey, it wants to expand the experience of the first game to a whole new level.

The game begins with a young woman named Jennifer, who has just finished studying in order to be a marine biologist. To achieve her lifelong goal of working at the world’s greatest aquarium, she embarks on an adventurous journey to create her own aquarium. With the help of her grandfather, a renowned marine biologist, she searches for rare items on the bottom of the sea so that she can raise money to build her dream aquarium.

The game itself is based on the “hidden object” principle, basically having to search different underwater scenarios for more than one thousand different objects. Each setting is vividly colored and animated, making it appealing and, at the same time, challenging when it comes to finding the desired objects.

After completing each mission, you are given a certain amount of money that you use to buy different decorations for your aquarium and even rare fish. What’s great about this is that you can fully customize your aquarium by choosing from a wide list of items that you can buy from the local store. This feature makes the game to be less predicting and allows every player to have an individual aquarium, even if the hidden object part of the game remains the same.

To keep the game more interesting, Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey benefits from the addition of over twenty sea creatures that are guaranteed to keep you wondering what will you discover next. They are all animated and just can’t wait to be a part of your perfect and complete aquarium.

As a bonus feature of the game, you also have the ability to choose a screensaver that you would like to be placed on your desktop. Of course, they come with an underwater theme that is more than beautiful and will make an excellent replacement to your dull screensaver. This feature is excellent if you have children and you want them to enjoy a colorful underwater world that seems to be taken from a fairytale.

On an overall basis, Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey is a very fun and captivating game that you will like instantly, as you will spend countless hours in front of the computer trying to make your aquarium perfect. As for the “hidden object” part of the game, it is a great way for children to stimulate their ability to search and distinguish things fast and accurately; you can also classify it as an educational game.

If you want to give it a try, you have the demo version at your disposal. After the sixty-minute trial is done and you’re still hooked on, buying the full version for 19.99 dollars might be a great investment for you.
