Experts from mobile security firm Lookout come to their aid with an interesting guide called “Generation Smartphone: A Guide for Parents of Tweens & Teens.”

The guide covers a number of aspects that parents should know before buying their young ones an iPhone or an Android device. On the other hand, it also reveals what parents currently think regarding the appropriate age for a child to get their first phone, and other statistical data.

The paper teaches adults what to ask themselves to determine if their children are prepared for a mobile phone, what to do after the gadget is purchased, and the rules they must set to ensure that unfortunate situations are avoided.
