14 DAY TRIAL // We finally have a full official trailer for what will certainly be the most insane, action-packed, and awesome movie of the summer, “The Expendables 3.” As you can see from the video below, it will also be quite ridiculous and far-fetched, but mostly it will be just awesome.
“The Expendables” franchise started as Sylvester Stallone’s brainchild: he wrote the script for it, directed it, starred in it and also made sure he got some of the biggest action movie stars of the ‘90s on board.
Those he didn’t manage to get in the first film were included in the second, and those who didn’t make it in that were welcome in the third. To boot, the third one also includes a handful of younger actors, from which Kellan Lutz, he of the “Twilight” fame, stands out. Apparently, he doesn’t do stairs: he just jumps from helicopters to the floor he needs to be on. On a bike.
Another twist that this third (and probably last because, seriously, how longer can these guys pull off such physically-demanding roles?) film brings is that, this time, the team of mercenaries will have to come out of the stone age and fight their battle in the city, even with some help from modern technology.
Worry not though, we will still get plenty of explosions, walks in the jungle, prison breakouts, machine gun rounds, the likes.
