Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that those who buy and then register a new copy of the third-person shooter Dead Space 2 will be getting access to some exclusive content linked to the BioWare-made role-playing game Dragon Age 2, which will be released early during March of this year.

The exclusive content is the armor of Ser Isaac of Clarke, made up of the following pieces:

- Ser Isaac’s Boots: offer increased protection and increase both dexterity and cunning in the character; - Ser Isaac's Armor: is a heavy suit of armor with a rune slot, increased protection and added bonuses to the same two stats; - Ser Isaac’s Helm: has more armor and a rune slot, increases chances for critical attacks being rolled and requires dexterity and cunning to be used; - Ser Isaac’s Gauntlets: increased stats and better armor.

Those who are interested in getting and using it in Dragon Age 2 need to buy a copy of Dead Space 2 for the PlayStation 3 for Sony or for the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and then register the code they get with their EA account.

When Dragon Age 2 arrives, the game needs to also be tied to the account for the player to get the bonus.

Only those who buy Dead Space 2 before the end of March will get access to the Sir Isaac's Armor.

Electronic Arts has used a similar cross promotion mechanics for the first Dragon Age, with those who bought and registered it able to use the Blood Dragon armor in another BioWare made game, Mass Effect 2.

Dragon Age 2 will tell the story of Hawke, a man who goes from being a refugee who flees the assault of the Blight to one of the most important characters in the world of game.
