14 DAY TRIAL // KAZAM, the European company that belongs to some ex-HTC officials, has just announced the upcoming availability of its first LTE smartphone, the Thunder2 4.5L.
Along with the new LTE handset, KAZAM has also introduced the Thunder2, Trooper2 and Life range of smartphones and feature phones.
According to the company, the KAZAM Thunder2 range will be available for purchase at the beginning of Q2 2014, including the first LTE smartphone, KAZAM Thunder2 4.5L.
The Thunder2 range of smartphones includes only two handsets, the LTE-enabled Thunder2 4.5L and the Thunder2 5.0.
The updated Trooper range will have four models, which will also be available from Q2: KAZAM Trooper2 6.0, KAZAM Trooper2 5.0, KAZAM Trooper2 4.5, and KAZAM Trooper2 4.0.
“The demand for LTE-enabled phones continues to grow across Europe. Our announcement today demonstrates our commitment to the market, and our ability to react quickly.” said Michael Coombes, CEO, KAZAM.
Last but not least, KAZAM has announced the debut of its Life range of feature phones, which is a response to the market's demand for “easy to use” phones.
All the handsets in the KAZAM Life range will feature Smart SOS, an emergency button that, if activated, will immediately call up to five predefined contacts, moving on to the next contact if voicemail is reached.
There is more to it, as KAZAM has confirmed that it will also launch the KAZAM Life R5, an IP67 “ruggedized” feature phone.

No word on pricing options for the moment, but KAZAM's officials state that all phones will be made available across Europe with country specific announcements made to coincide with in-store availability.
