The development team at Turtle Rock Studios is ready to offer more details for its upcoming Evolve, giving fans of the cooperative experience a first look at two new classes, the Trapper and the Support.

Each of them comes with an unique set of skills and abilities and all four classes need to work together in order to take down the player-controlled monster.

The Trapper character shown on Game Informer is called Griffin and can use a harpoon gun in order to both detect and then restrain alien creatures.

Gamers can use the weapon to actually tether themselves to the monster and they can also use a gadget called Sound Spikes, which is designed to detect all nearby creatures and stun them so that the player can attack them with his submachine gun.

The Support class character is named Hank and he has access to a shield gun that can create cover whenever the team needs it.

His main offensive weapons are assault rifles and a laser cutter gadget can be used to attack enemies but also to pinpoint threats for other members of the team, which is essential given the coop nature of Evolve.

When the situation requires it, the Support can also call down an Orbital Barrage and Hank can also choose a more stealthy approach by using his cloacking skill.

The Medic class is the last from Evolve that has not been detailed.

The Turtle Rock Studios shooter is an asymmetric experience that allows a team of four humans to hunt down a monster controlled by the fifth player, with a variety of modes and maps planned for launch.

The game will also have a single-player component and will be launched at some point this year on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
