Eastern European tablet marker Evolio recently announced a new addition to its expandable slate portfolio.

The Evolio X8 Fusion comes sporting a 7.85-inch Super HD IPS display with a decent resolution of 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. The new tablet draws power from a Rocketchip RK31887 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz complete with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microUSB).

The Evolio X8 also bundles dual cameras (2MP on the back and 0.3MP in front) and a 3900 mAh battery capable of proving up to 6 hours of autonomy. Last but not least, the model runs the fairy recent Android 4.2.2.

But the neat part comes now, customers purchasing the new Evolio tablet will be thrilled to find a Bluetooth keyboard dock inside the package, so they can use the device as a mini-notebook too.

The tablet is quite slim and fit and overall reminiscent of the iPad Mini and will ship for $223 / €166.
