If you are a technology fan or you just want to know everything about storage, specialized technologies, novelties such as the Flash memory and least but not last, everything there is to know about Microsoft's Vista, hurry up and register to the fifth annual MemCon San Jose event which will be held September 12-14 in Santa Clara, California.

The MemCon San Jose event will start with a special half-day track focusing on memory and storage technology for Windows Vista. Co-sponsored by Samsung Semiconductor and Microsoft Corporation, this track addresses the application of Flash and Hybrid-Hard Disk Drive technology to the Windows Vista operating system, and the resulting impact on performance and end-user experience.

But this is not all, as you will witness presentations made by ATI Technologies, Denali Software, Intel, Microsoft and Samsung, which will be followed by a debate moderated by PC Magazine editor, John Dvorak.

If you didn't know, Denali MemCon is the premier industry event addressing the business, technology, and system design strategies for semiconductor memory and storage, and is held annually in San Jose and Tokyo and has been also expanded to other cities including Austin, Boston, Munich, and Shanghai.

MemCon is produced by Denali Software, and sponsored by leading companies in the semiconductor memory and storage industries. These events feature exclusive presentations from industry experts on topics ranging from memory device technology, product roadmaps, market outlooks, to design techniques and silicon implementation strategies for memory storage systems.

"MemCon continues to be among the most important venues for the latest memory and storage solution announcements within the semiconductor industry," said Jim Handy, director of Nonvolatile Memory Services at Semico Research. "This conference provides a unique opportunity for the design community to exchange information and ideas about the latest storage technologies and memory efficient solutions for the latest designs."

In order to understand what you will miss if you decide not to go, here are some attendants and sponsors of the event: Micron Technology, Samsung, Altera, ARM, ATI, Denali, Microsoft, IBM, Intel, Qimonda, Seagate Technology, Sequence Design, Staktek Holdings, and STMicroelectronics.
