Evergreen Energy, a company from Denver which operates on the market of alternative energy has announced today the fact that Judith Tanselle, 57, was named President. Her daily activity will imply reporting directly to Executive Chairman Ilyas Khan.

Apparently, her superior said that Tanselle's new position in the company will encourage their new and long-term strategies. It seems that she will manage to bring depth and a fresh, productive start to the company, due to her prior work experience. In the mean time, the enterprise will focus, during the next few months,on supporting innovative initiatives in new locations all around Australia, Indonesia, North America and Europe.

Also, it is very important for Evergreen Energy Inc to be able to consolidate its position in countries in which the company has already established its headquarters and partnerships, such as China, for example.

“I am very pleased and excited to welcome Judy to Evergreen. Judy is an experienced energy industry executive with a track record of building profitable businesses. I have known her for some time, and can confirm that she is also one of the most respected and admired coal upgrading executives in the global market and her expertise is simply unmatched in this area,” said Khan.

Also, the new President expressed her excitement caused by her new promotion.“Evergreen is well positioned to capitalize on the global demand for green energy. I am excited to be joining the company as its President and look forward to building on and leading the company’s strategy,” declared Tanselle.

Tanselle has the profile of a perfect candidate, judging by the fact that she has worked for more than 20 years in this field. Before she became President, she was responsible for White Energy's North American's activity. Here, she managed to supervise the agreement with Peabody Energy and also, she had to take care of the developing of White Energy's US strategies.

Prior to her successful collaboration with Evergreen, Tanselle has worked for four other major players on the market of alternative energy sources. To state only two of her many achievements, she was NRG Energy's Executive Director and also, she successfully managed one of the most important US enterprises that deals with coal and emissions.

Ms. Tanselle apparently shouldn't experience major trouble while raising the numbers for the company, since she has taught mathematics for 17 years at the University of Louisville and the Pennsylvania State University.
