Summer may have entered its third month, but between global warming and other factors, laptops still seem to have a penchant for overheating, especially when lying on their owners' laps. In order to remedy this problem, PC accessory makers have already unleashed a number of laptop cooling stands. Now, Evercool decided it was time for another one to show itself, so it brought out its Battle Hero. Essentially, this product is a notebook cooling stand that will drive operational temperatures of notebooks significantly lower.

The main trait of the Battle Hero is its support for mobile PCs with screen sizes of between 9 inches and 15 inches. This is possible because it itself measures 324 mm x 270 mm x 35 mm. The product is made of aluminum and employs not one, but two distinct fans whose rotary speed is of 1,500 RPM (rotations per minute) and whose sound output is of 16dBA. Its maker also built a drawer into it, meant to house the USB cable that allows the stand to connect to the laptop and draw out the necessary power. What's more, there is even a decorative design on the Battle Hero, for that tint of style that all consumers appreciate.

“It easily comes to mind that the concepts of “fighting” and “gaming” constituted the vision design style of BATTLE HERO as it also implied by its name. Metallic gray, red and black integrate the artistic conception, and using popular gaming images invokes the sense of identity for gamers. Its’ style is completely different to last year’s release of Zodiac II and Hawk1. To strike at to fight translates to fighting back the heat and high temperatures. The gaming style is quite eye-catching and unique,” states the official announcement.

Unfortunately, the company was not exactly forthcoming when it came pricing details.
