It's becoming somewhat of a trend for the most important manufacturers of various electronic products to team up with some of the world's most important fashion designers in an attempt to come up with more attractive products, but at the same time, to increase the level of awareness regarding the respective products. And one of the latest examples comes from Samsung, who, after launching an Armani/Samsung phone, has decided to take things even further and unveiled on the opening day of the Milan International Furniture Fair a premium LCD television.

As Akihabara News informs us, the overall external design of the new Armani/Samsung LCD Television has been inspired by Giorgio Armani's new 2008/09 Armani/Casa home furnishings collection, which include a couple of very attractive products, some of which have been especially designed to match the Korean company's new TV set.

Some of these very special design elements include a stylish remote control and a special 4-mode lighted power switch that customizes the display of the two companies' logos on the front of the television. When handled, the unit immediately comes alive with radiant backlights to present a full range of convenient features. The television also comes with a smaller, pebble-shaped remote for basic functions that rests at the corner of the stand.

The new TV also features glass in the front and shows simple but solid natural lines that convey pure emotional expression. Both models, 46-inch and 52-inch, are to incorporate many advanced features, such as 100Hz Full HD and HDMI connectors, all of which are a trademark of the technological advancements that can be found in most other Samsung devices.

The 46-inch Armani/Samsung Television, will be launched initially in Europe, Korea and Russia in mid summer, while the 52-inch model will be launched in late-summer in the same market. Unfortunately, no pricing details are available for the time being, but these things will most certainly come at some pretty high price tags.
