First time the two married stars work together

“Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria and husband Tony Parker have become the power couple pushing the latest collection from fashion giant London Fog. The ads, revealed the other day, are more like a photo album than a genuine campaign, in that they see the two kissing and looking into each other's eyes, just like they would if they were posing for snaps for the family album.

This, despite the fact that, in many shots, the petite actress wears only a mac or a huge handbag, but her body is well hidden behind these items and Parker’s arms. However, Longoria admits that shooting for the London Fog campaign has been one of the most pleasant things she’s ever done, especially since she got to work with Tony for the first time. Moreover, she was reportedly so pleased with the result, she even asked for a few snaps to take home and have them framed.

“It was a big love fest. The creative concept was a romantic intimate moment, so it was a lot of Eva and Tony standing really close and nuzzling. They were like, ‘This is the easiest job we’ve ever done.’ What was so sweet is that Eva asked if we could have a couple of portraits printed for her. She said she had never asked for that before, but she wants to put them in her home.” Dari Marder of London Fog tells the British media about the photoshoot.

Still, getting to kiss and hug her husband in front of the cameras was not the only reason why Longoria accepted the offer to front the campaign for the fashion line. London Fog, she says, stands for elegance and class, and this was the main reason why she said yes to the offer. “It was fun to work together. London Fog is always classy and beautiful and we knew we were in good hands for the campaign. The coats and bags were gorgeous; I am a huge fan of trench coats and all the London Fog trenches were amazing.” Longoria explains.

Indeed, some of the black-and-white shots, with Longoria in a trench coat and Parker with a classy hat, tipped to one side, do bespeak elegance and vintage style. See here for more shots from the London Fog campaign.
