Coming to expand its line of flash drives in Europe, Patriot memory had sent out its Xporter Rage series, currently composed of 4 models with differing capacities, with prices of up to 126.93 Euro and USB 2.0 connectivity.

Seeking to at least differentiate its product from rival flash drives, Patriot Memory implemented several design and performance elements in its Rage line.

One of them is the fact that they employ a quad-channel architecture, which significantly boost transfer speeds because data is relayed to four NAND chips at the same time.

This is why the newcomers actually can write at a maximum rate of 25 MB/s, even on the USB 2.0 interface standard.

To be more specific, the units can read at 27 MB/s and scribe at 25 MB/s, even as their physical traits complement this performance.

The Xporter have a retractable USB plug design and, in order to ensure sturdiness, come with a rubber coating on the housing.

Basically, the storage devices should readily withstand drops and wear from being handled daily, among other things. This rubber coating also makes them easy to hold onto.

European stores are now acting as the sales channels for the 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB, each with its own lifetime warranty.

As for pricing, the 8 GB Xporter rage sells for 17.50 Euro, the 16 GB one for 32.39 Euro, the 32 GB drive for 62.14 Euro and the 64 GB version for 126.93. Full information on the full series can be found here.

“The Patriot Extreme Performance Xporter XT Rage is a USB Flash Drive with both performance and functionality,” states the product page.

“Featuring an innovative Quad Channel configuration, data is intelligently managed and transferred simultaneously to 4 NAND chips resulting in vastly enhanced performance, particularly write speeds,” the page adds.
