Paradox Interactive has just gone public announcing that it will be publishing UFO Extraterrestrials for the European market from all hot-shot retailers on June 29th, priced somewhere at 14.99 pounds. However, the game is already available now by download from Gamer's Gate. Below, you can learn the game's bug fixes and more.

The game is set in the year 2025 on the recently colonized planet of Esperanza. The colony has come under attack from alien forces, and it's up to you, of course to control a squad of soldiers, robots, and support vehicles and fight back the invading menace. You'll have at your disposal squads of soldiers, light and heavy support combat vehicles, robots and air units located in bases throughout Esperanza.

"We are very excited about this release as the game fits in well with the nostalgia wave hitting the computer games industry" said Fredrik Wester, Executive Vice President of Paradox Interactive. "We believe this will be a great hit with gamers who enjoyed games like the X-com series and similar"

As a result of Tri Sinergy's coming up with a patch for the aliens' bugs, here's what the final product features, adding to what was previously known:

- There is an increase of the selling price for most equipment the player can manufacture or capture. - Autosaving is now possible before each mission at the beginning of every month. - UFO: Extraterrestrials can now be played in more resolutions (1024x768 and higher) - Windowed mode is now supported. - Tactical mode is animated smoother and is greatly enhanced by a variety of useful new hotkeys and available settings (like movement speed for units or scrolling speed). - Extensive hotkey support for both real time and tactical modes.

So, remember: major retailers will have it on June 29th, priced somewhere at 14.99 quid, while Gamer's Gate already have it available for you to download. What'll it be?
