Earlier this month, Eurocom rolled out the M4 Ultraportable laptop, which it advertised as being the world’s most powerful 13.30-incher.

Eurocom has also benchmarked and stress-tested the M4 to show perspective customers the performance squeezed under its smallish hood.

The M4 comes with a 13.3-inch QHD+ notebook (gorgeous 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution), while under the hood lies an Intel Core i7 Extreme Processor fitted with NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX 860M graphics with 2GB DDR5 VRAM, 640 CUDA Core, with a GPU core able to run at up to 1029MHz+ boost.

The processor range includes a full line of the 4th Generation Intel Core i7 chips that utilize the Intel HM87 Express Chipset, including the Intel Core i7-4940MX Processor Extreme with 4 cores and 8 threats running at 3.1 GHz (up to 4Ghz max turbo frequency) with 8MB L3 cache.

And as we said, Eurocom put the M4 laptop to the test, to show users the extreme capabilities of the little beast.

“Part of Eurocom’s ongoing performance verification and research and development, Eurocom engineers regularly test and benchmark different form factors with a variety of component configurations in order for customers to employ more intelligent decision making to select the perfect system for them,” explains Eurocom President, Mark Bialic.

So here are some of the benchmark results for the Eurocom M4.

3DMark Vantage: P19472 3DMark 11: P5304 Unigine Heaven: 1097 Unigine Heaven: 1516

Eurocom makes a point in reminding you the M4 is fully configurable and upgradable in every department, including memory configuration, processor, mSATA storage drives, OS, wireless card configurations and more.

Bottom line is, Eurocom invites users to build their own system from the ground up, but more powerful configurations won’t come cheap.

For example, opting for an Intel Core i7-4940MX processor, 16GB DDR3-1866 memory, two 1TB Samsung 840 EVO mSATA SSD plus 800GB Intel DC S3700 SSD and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, will take you back with a chunky $5,847 / €4,264.

Furthermore, the Eurocom M4 also has a backlit keyboard with 3-levels of intensity and brings about an extensive host of other features including USB 2.0, 3x USB 3.0 (1x powered AC/DC), HDMI 1.4a out, headphones, mic, RJ45, 1Gigabit, WLAN and Bluetooth.

The laptop packs capable configurations, but one negative aspect is you won’t be able to squeeze a long battery life out of it and Eurocom claims the M4 can last up for as long as 5 hours.
