After offering powerful gaming laptops and mobile servers with amazing customization options, Eurocom is seemingly teasing the market with other products too.

The company has just released a new thin, sleek Ultrabook that boasts complete multi-touch capabilities. Eurocom has given its new lappy an endearing name (we should see more of that in the industry, if you ask us) calling it the Armadillo.

The 14-inch notebook has a 10-point multi-touch display that comes equipped with an apt and beautiful resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The laptop has been built to provide efficiency and portability for the “new age of power user.” The Armadillo blends the capabilities of a fully-fledged laptop with the ease and convenience of a tablet.

With Windows 8 running as the default operating system, users can swipe, scroll and get their work done using intuitive gestures.

Eurocom President, Mark Bialic introduces the Armadillo, just like he does with all of the company’s new products.

“The EUROCOM Armadillo is a perfect complement to our line of thin and light notebooks from 11.6” to 15.6” as it focuses on the pleasure of computing combined with a beautiful 14” design.”

“ The EUROCOM Armadillo has the power, speed and slim build that can’t help but turn heads, who knew an Armadillo could be so beautiful!”

The Armadillo might be thin and sleek, but that doesn't mean Eurocom hasn't packed a capable configuration in its entrails.

Under the hood, Eurocom has packed a 1.8GHz (up to 3.0GHz in turbo mode) Intel Core i7-4500U Mobile Processor complete with Intel HD Graphics 4400 (up to 1.7GB with Intel Dynamic Memory Technology) and up to 16GB of RAM.

The little Armadillo can support up to two storage drives for up to 1.4TB of storage, by virtue of a standard storage drive plus an mSATA Solid State Drive. Furthermore, the lappy has two USB 3.0, HDMI out, headphone jack, microphone jack and RJ45/LAN.

The laptop weighs just 2 kg / 4.4 lbs and is 22 mm / 0.86 inches so users can take advantage of it while on the go, as well. Battery life is said to last up to 9 hours of intense use.

Pricing for your basic Armadillo starts at $917 / €673.
