M3 impresses with its small form factor and high performance capabilities

The Eurocom M3 notebook is one of the world’s lightest Haswell-based devices of its kind aimed for professionals and gamers. 

Under the hood, the manufacturer has slipped impressive specifications that allow demanding software and games to run smoothly and effortlessly. Now, the manufacturing company has increased the device’s security standards by adding the Trusted Platform Module.

The technology is designed to protect against external software attacks and physical theft. The new TPM 1.2 chip provided by Infineon Technologies will safely store sensitive information such as passwords, keys and digital certificates.

Most importantly, cryptographic functions will be performed via the TPM chip, ensuring no third-parties have access to the info stored on board.

The M3 notebook is one of Eurocom’s finest releases for professional consumers. The device can be customized to suit the highest of standards. Processor wise, customers will be able to choose between 4th generation Intel Core i5, i7 and i7 Extreme processors on the Intel HM87 Express Chipset.

Eurocom has added the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M with 2GB DDR5 memory running at 1000 MHz and 768 CUDA Cores running at 850 MHz.

In the display department, the M3 boasts a 13.3-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel density and 700:1 contrast ration. Bear in mind that Eurocom offers display calibration services in order to make sure colors are truly realistic and vivid.

Standards are set high in the storage and memory department as well. There are two mSATA storage devices and one standard storage device amounting to a total of 2.5TB of storage and RAID capability. On top of that, there’s 16GB DDR3-1600 SODIMM memory comprised in two splits.

As for connectivity, Eurocom offers anything you could have ever dreamed about. There’s USB 3.0, eSATA, HDMI 1.4a, Display Port 1.2, DVI-I and 9 in 1 media card reader.

Customers can opt for Windows 8 Home, Professional or Ultimate or Windows 7 Professional, Home and Ultimate. Support for Linux is also provided.

As stated above M3 is one of the lightest devices of its kind, weighing only 2kg / 4.4 lbs and being 1.2 inches / 30 mm thin, so it can be supposedly carried around by gamers or professionals on the job, effortlessly.
