Ericsson have just expanded their market share with the signing of a new contract. They will be providing WCDMA/HSPA network solutions in Hungary too from now on; this is just another country on their list of many customers for the telecom services that they provide.

Ericsson has just partnered with Pannon, Hungary's second-largest mobile operator. With this deal signed, Ericsson will add 3 million people to the high number of those who already benefit from their services and networks. The new agreement looks to settle the terms for expanding Pannon's WCDMA radio network as well as develop and integrate mobile broadband services using HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access) technology.

Ericsson's experience and successful results up to now are the main reasons why Pannon has decided to choose them for developing an efficient network. "We have chosen to establish a long-term partnership with Ericsson to deliver advanced mobile broadband services to our customers. Ericsson's leadership in WCDMA and HSPA is a strategic advantage for Pannon", said Ove Fredheim, CEO of Pannon.

It turns out as a highly convenient contract for Ericsson to grab. The company now has the chance of expanding the list of clients. "This is a strategic contract for Ericsson, further strengthening our cooperation with Telenor. The extended agreement with Pannon takes our partnership to the next level", declared G?bor ?ry, President of Ericsson Hungary.

Ericsson's role will be easy to see in the shaping of Mobile and Broadband Internet communications with the help of their long experience accumulated over the years. This company currently provides innovative solutions in more than 140 countries and is helping create the most powerful communication companies in the world. As part of this new, two-year agreement, Ericsson will provide a fully functional new network, including supporting services.
