The ice from the building's roof collapses in the most amazing way

This is actually a winter show that you don't see all the time, as almost symmetrical pieces of ice collapse from the roof of a building in an amazing waterfall-like avalanche.

After all the pieces of ice hit the ground, a big pile of iced snow is left in front of the building, and a lot of amazed eyewitnesses, who were front-viewers at the show.

I don't know if it was staged or not, but the epic avalanche is pretty cool, it almost makes me want to see it live. Thinking about it, not really, if one of those snow bricks would have wandered the wrong way, it may have actually injured someone.

Dangerous or not, the moment is epic and somehow funny, and the clip posted on YouTube captures the entire fall. One question keeps bugging me, though, how did they make those almost identical squares of ice? I hope that no one was injured in the process.
