The MiFi package will allow use of the device over Three’s cellular network

Last week we saw UK carrier Three offer the Alcatel One Touch 7 coupled with the Huawei E5220 MiFi starter kit for a very appealing price.

It appears that the company will continue to do so this week as well, offering the mid-range Gemini D7 for a very affordable price, if customers purchase the portable MiFi.

The Gemini D7 is a very basic tablet, powered by an unnamed dual-core ARM processor coupled with Mali-400 GPU. It’s possible that the CPU will turn out to be an Allwinner or a Rockchip working with just 512MB of RAM. 4GB of storage is offered onboard, expandable to 32GB via the microSD card.

In terms of display, we have a 7-inch screen with a bland resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, but the carrier claims that’s enough to play Angry Birds. Interestingly enough, we find not only the Google Play Store onboard of the device, but also the Amazon Appstore, an odd combination.

The slate is available for purchase alongside a MiFi device and will cost customers £99 / $160 / €118 a pop.
