Every once in a while, Google updates the Personalized Homepage that will allow the users to customize the functionality of their own Google website. Back in winter, the search giant introduced several themes that bring a little bit more customization to the users' page, helping them to change the entire interface with new elements. Today, Google Personalized Homepage revealed a new theme, codenamed Seasonal Scape that celebrates the spring with flowers, animals and green grass. Although it's not quite clear if it's only an update or a brand new theme, the company debuted this new appearance for the product along with a time sync fix.

Recently, the Google Personalized Homepage was affected by a highly critical vulnerability that caused several losses for all the users of the service. After a huge Google Groups topic was filed by an impressive number of customers that reported their data disappeared from the Personalized Homepage, the search giant inspected the problem and found a huge bug. Most of the affected users sustain their pages were reverted to default while their entire configuration disappeared. However, the company fixed it quickly and managed to get all the settings back.

That wasn't the first time when Personalized Homepage caused trouble for the Mountain View-based firm. In the past, several bugs, vulnerabilities or simple security flaws brought the company in the spotlights. Meanwhile, the search giant worked on the product and promoted their tiny utilities, codenamed gadgets that are able to improve the functionality of the page. For example, the gadgets that are designed by both company and users, are able to bring some new and simple functions to the page such as weather information, clocks or YouTube videos.
